Home appliances

It happen to almost all of us at least once that one of  house hold appliances broke due to atmospheric disturbances or to an over voltage from the mains. It  happen to almost all of us, too, to not be able to watch on TV on proper receiving condition our favorite show due to a highly variable mains voltage. Unfortunately, such events are not under human control, though there is a hope: you can use a voltage stabiliser. Voltage stabilisers are not an universal solution to problems that might occur when feeding a device with electrical power, but in many cases they help. Voltage stabiliser are the answer if your AC supply  problems are one of theese:

- overvoltage;

- undervoltage;

- high voltage due to transitory effects;

- high voltage due to atmospheric disturbances;

- you recently intalled an air conditioning system at home and when it works all other home appliances does not work properly.

Model Typical load
EVR 300 1 refrigerator
EVR 300 1 TV set
EVR 300 1 home audio system
EVR 300 1 Computer
EVR 600 1 refrigerator + 1 TV set
EVR 600 1 TV set + 1 home audio system
EVR1000 1 TV set + 1 home audio system + 1 Computer
ATLAS 2000 2 TV sets + 1 home audio system + 1 Computer + 1 refrigerator + 1 freezer
ATLAS 3500 All electronic equipment in an usual apartment without washing machine, vacuum cleaner, iron
ATLAS 5000 All electric and electronic equipment in an usual apartment
ATLAS 15000.3 All electric and electronic equipment in an usual house, including lighting system if the house is supplied at 400Vca 3F+N

Tips

  • The voltage stabilizers made by Banattika are the solution for  protection against voltage variations and transitory effects.

  • Voltage stabilizers are designed for equipments witch will not be damaged by a sudden  interruption in the AC mains but theire normal operation are disturbated by variations of mains voltage.  Such   example of this type of equipments are cash registers, medical equipment, printers, photocopiers, plotters, scanners, home use appliances. All the equipments mentioned below will not work properly in the event of a depression or a supression in the AC mains.

  • Always consult an electrician before installing an ATLAS voltage stabiliser.

  • Due to the high starting input currents of air conditoning systems, it is not advisable to feed such an equipent using an ATLAS voltage stabiliser. Though it is highly advisable to feed all home use appliances (except air condtioning) using an ATLAS 5000 voltage stabiliser.

  • If youre house is feed by a 380V three-phase network we recommend to use a three-phase voltage stabiliser ATLAS   15000.3.

  • Due to the high input transitory currents it is not recommended to use an voltage stabiliser to feed a welding kit.

  • Voltage stabilisers are not uninterruptible power supplies (UPS). If the event of  interruption of AC supply occurs, the output voltage of the voltage stabiliser  should be 0 Vac.

  • Voltage stabilisers are not frequency stabilisers. The input and the output frequency of the voltage stabilisers are the same. (e.g. mains frequency is 47 Hz, output frequency of voltage stabiliser should be 47 Hz, too).
